Well everybody knows that today is Father's day (or is it? haha...) I remember there is one chinese song about father from a movie Papa, Can you Hear Me Sing the chinese title is 搭错车.
I guess most of the youngster here don't know this movie. The stories goes as below.
In 1985 winter, a dumb man collect an abandoned baby girl and he named her Ah Mei. He is poor but he raise up the girl by collecting empty wine bottles. His wife leave him. In order to entertain Ah Mei, he played recorder for her everyday, and thus make Ah Mei likes music and singing. Laterday Ah Mei grew up and became a famous singer in South East Asia and had many concerts around SEA countries. After returning back to Taiwan from concert tour, she is busy with tight schedule and not able to meet with his dad and little she knew that her father is in critically ill for missing her so much. The man is poor and dies in a hospital. The girl hears the news in her concert and goes to the hospital. She goes back to the concert and sings the theme song, 酒矸倘卖无, meaning Is There Any Empty Wine Bottle to Sell?

You guys probably heard about The Cave of the Golden Roses (a.k.a Fantaghirò in Italian) in the comment I made in Ichi’s blog post. I get to know this drama series when I was around 14 years old, it’s a romantic Italian drama series, aired on national TV station; of course dubbed in English. I was attracted to this movie………..well nonetheless due to this hot guy, named Kim Rossi Stuart, my first Italian crush…..hehehehe……. And so up until now I always think guy with the name Romualdo confirm a cute hottie!
I manage to find some synopsis in Wikipedia and clips from YouTube, so enjoy! Fantaghirò is the youngest of three princesses born to a warrior King. Although she is beautiful and smart, she causes many problems for her family because she goes against everything expected for a woman in her kingdom, by being adventurous and rebellious, and knowing how to read, which makes her father furious. One day, the warrior King receives an invitation from the enemy king Romualdo to a duel that can potentially end the centuries-long war that has been going on between the two kingdoms. The warrior king then learns that only one of his three daughters can win the duel. Fantaghirò sees this as a chance for her to prove herself. Fantaghirò and Romualdo are due to be married, but their wedding is cut short when news arrives that Fantaghirò's father has been kidnapped by the Black Queen. The Black Queen demands that Fantaghirò and Romualdo submit to her rule, but they refuse and Romualdo declares war. He sets out with his army, leaving behind Fantaghirò, who has sworn not to lift another weapon for the rest of her life. However, Fantaghirò finds that she has to break her promise, and secretly sets out on her own to the Dark Kingdom, where she learns that the Black Queen's plan is much more sinister.
I consider myself as young blogger, so being a young blogger; I read blog. Thus, I came across that there are quite a number of doctor to be in our circle, and so I read, read and read their blog; learn few medical term, then I came across the word Pathology, remind me there is a horror movie titled Pathology so I went to download and watch it.
One of the scene did interest me, in sort of lecture hall; allow me to quote “As pathologist, we’ll learn the nature of disease and its causes, its processes, development, consequences. But far more than that, I’d like to think that the pathologist has offered a window to God if you will. Now it maybe said, the pathology is a study in all things human, save for the soul of course. But it is that particular branch of pathology known as forensic that we will delve into what it means to be inhuman. You will se a perversion and the corruption of the flesh by all means unnatural. By violence, by toxins, by madness, and then we will work backwards, always back to that original pristine design to determine the offending cause of death.”
Phrase that interest me the most is “….the pathologist has offered a window to god if you will”. Now fellow doctors, can you further elaborate on this matter? Enlighten me if you will.

By the way, I couldn’t finish this movie as it is so gross, although being tempted by Milo Ventimiglia.
