No no..this is not about the undies G-string, I know many of you will think I’ll write about G-string undies….you all hamsap minded!. I’m talking about Bach’s Air on the G-String.
So why it was call on G-string leh? Hmm…..perhaps when the musician plays this pieces when by he only wear G-string kua….no lor…wrong jor!
The title comes from violinist Wilhelmj's late 19th century arrangement of the piece for violin and piano. By transposing the key of the piece from its original D major to C major and transposing the melody down an octave, Wilhelmj was able to play the piece on only one string of his violin, the G string. Although it was written for violin, below clip shows play with cello; damn nice!
